Has anyone experienced intermittent C0000005 (ASP 0115) trappable errors on their asp site?

We have just started getting them about 1 month ago and can't pin it down to any changes we have made to the site, hosting or database.

The error is
Error Number: ASP 0115
ASPDescription: A trappable error (C0000005) occurred in an external object. The script cannot continue running.
File: /ajaxservice.asp

When this error occurs the site goes offline and we have to reset the hosting service. We have checked the database integrity and it looks ok.

Any ideas on how we could pin it down would be appreciated.

Regards, Gary

Hi Gary

What version is the store on as that file was changed back in October - maybe updating would be a first step to seeing if that sorts it out.

Hi Andy,

It is 6.3 and has been customised quite a lot and (apart from this intermittent problem) is working fine for us, so we didn't want to run the full update. After some emails to Vince he said to update the inccart.asp file to fix the security vulnerability - which we did, but we had this error before and after we updated that file.

Hi Gary, can you make a backup of the current vsadmin/ajaxservice.asp then try updating the vsadmin/ajaxservice.asp to the same version that you did for inccart.
