Hi Anyone,

I am stumped as to how I can add the item ID above my item description to my products.asp page?

https://www.canadacutlery.ca/products.asp

Probably an easy fix.

Thanks, Peter

Hi Peter

I am guessing you may mean the product ID (productid), yes?

If so & to be able to show certain elements on the products & product details page you need to add them to the layouts in the includes file. You can arrange the elements to appear where you would like them to show. The code below is for the asp version, hope this helps

Products page
productpagelayout="productimage, addtocart, productid, sku, productname, manufacturer, discounts, reviewstars, instock, custom1, description, options, listprice, price, currency, quantity, dateadded, custom2"

Product Details page
detailpagelayout="navigation, checkoutbutton, productimage, productid, manufacturer, sku, productname, discounts, instock, description, listprice, price, quantity, currency, dateadded, options, addtocart, previousnext, emailfriend, reviews, socialmedia"

Perfect and thanks for the knowledge update Steve.

I had in fact also changed the ectstyle1.css file to hide the "In Stock", taking it off via the includes file makes far more sense.

Thanks, Peter
