I'm struggling with how to hide the stock level from the end user ?

In the vsadmin/includes.asp file remove "instock" from the detailpagelayout= and productpagelayout=. If the "instock" appears like this
custom2,custom3,instock,previousnext,
also remove one of the commas, e.g. ",instock".

on the includes file all i have is

notifybackinstock=TRUE

That line may be located in the proddetail.asp and products.asp pages, so check there.

Hi Also check in the vsadmin/includes for the following parameter and either remove it or change to FALSE

Set the following switch . . .

showinstock=TRUE

to show the number of items in stock on your products page
