Welcome to the October edition of the Ecommerce Templates Newsletter where we bring news of the feature packed new version, a stunning responsive design, feedback on our new Hosted Store Solution and some helpful ecommerce related articles we have been working on.
ECT Version 7.0.1 is now available and includes some cracking new css opportunities and a batch of great features...
One of the most exciting new features in Version 7.0.1 is the ability to add customized overlays to product images as well as being able to style individual product options. We have set up a few examples for you to look at and maybe play around with.
For the overlays you can choose to use color or image based backgrounds and they are completely cross browser compatible. The text, shape and colors are all up to you.
You can also now set your own css classes per option meaning that you can target individual options with personalized css. Define the class in the product option admin pages and then add your own css to your style sheet.
Our latest Premium Responsive Design is now available. Apart from the great Ecommerce Templates shopping cart software features, the layout is enhanced with the Premium CSS Display, Drop Down Minicart, CSS Widgets, Mega Menu and Side Filter bar.
It's a wide design with optional sidebars included if required on specific pages.
It is also available as part of the our Replacement Software service and as a regular responsive design.
In our last newsletter we announced the release of the new ECT Hosted Store and feedback has been really positive. Thanks to those who signed up for the thirty day free trial and those who went on to set up their store on the new platform.
The thing we're hearing most is the ease of use, there's no coding knowledge required and from just $24.95 / month includes the regular ECT store features you will be familiar with.
If you are thinking of making the switch to the ECT Hosted Store, we are able to move your existing ASP or PHP version database over to the new platform - just let us know if that's what you need and we'll sort it out for you.
