Important Note!! Normally with minor releases it is possible to select files to update. But with this release you must updated the incfunctions.asp file as there are new functions declared.

There is a new feature included where you can apply a discount to a manufacturer or other product attribute in the same way that you can apply a discount to a category.

Discounts only apply to a products main category, not to any additional categories that the product is included in and this could lead to confusion as in the product listings a discount would be labelled as applying to all products. Now products to which the discount does not apply have this specified.

If a manufacturer was modified via the Quick Entry feature in the products admin page the previous manufacturer may not have been removed from the product and this has been rectified.

You can now search for products in the admin products page that have several new flags set including products that have the Back Order attribute, Gift Wrap, products that are Recommended or those that have a Static Page attribute set.

NULL values were not taken account of with Static URL's for manufactuers which could lead to problems and this has now been fixed.

Several issues have been resolved with regard to the new SEO URL feature of the cart.

The Rich Snippets markup now sets the "itemprop" of "price" to the tax inclusive price if a separate tax inclusive price is displayed.

When editing an order in the admin orders page the product weight is now reset to its correct value as previously this value was lost.

The Email Friend / Ask A Question feature window size has now been increased slightly as in some cases horizontal scroll was occuring.

The Order ID is also sent to PayPal Standard Payments as the "invoice" parameter so that you can match orders via the Order ID.

There are many improvements to the Multi Language features of the cart in this release including revisions of the French, German and Spanish langues files. (Many thanks to Guy Fortier and Ann Strebe for their help with this.)

Certain characters in image filenames could cause problems and these are now properly escaped.

A warning in the admin products page about the space replacement character being used in products could sometimes be incorrectly displayed even though the space replacement character was not used.

Sensible limits are introduced in the cart page for the customer details so that it is not possible to cause an error by entering too much data.

The text "to many major destinations" has been removed from USPS shipping quotes as it was causing horizontal scroll.

You can now set a separate parameter "admingiftcertsperpage=100" in the includes.asp file to set a separate number of gift certificates per page if required.

The Cross Sell script now correctly obeys the sorting parameters.

The Recent View feature could in some cases display a product URL that was invalid.

The Hotfixes for v6.4 plus many other bug fixes and efficiency improvements are included in this release.
