I need to create some options for one product “Tennis Racquet” For example following options as drop down menu: 1 - Unstrung - Do not string 2 - Build a Custom Hybrid 3 - String Specials 4 - Build a Custom Hybrid
Each above options supposed to have another drop down menu depending on the selection. i.e. if option “1 - Unstrung - Do not string” is selected it should not display any dropdown menu, however if option 2 is select it should display a drop down menu with list of items to select.
Please check out the following link to clarify my question: http://www.tennis-warehouse.com/Head_Graphene_Prestige_Midplus/descpageRCHEAD-GPMP.html
Please send me a link to further explore the “Attribute “ options

Hi You wouldn't use product attributes for that but for example set up a new option group called "Build a Custom Hybrid" and then in the product options admin page for the main option group select that recently set up as the dependent option. Andy Please feel free to review / rate our software

Please elaborate on how to set up dependent drop downs.
I want dropdowns to change based on whats been selected before. I don't see in admin where to select 'dependent' as option.
using 'Ecommerce Plus PHP v6.3.3'

Hi Jason Those would be set up in the product option admin page. First of all set up what will be the dependent options and then the main option. From the main option you can then specify the dependent option you previously defined. Andy Please feel free to review / rate our software

I know I'm missing something here. How is that different from a regular drop down option? In the original posters site, when you select string option, a string option dropdown appears. If you select no strings, nothing appears below. How is that done?

All I see is 'options/alternates'. Can you show an example of how this can be done using the product options utility?
