The v6.7.0 Beta updater is now available for ASP / PHP.
The following changes have been made...

The v6.7 Major Release has been fully tested but should still be considered a Beta version for now.

Please note that you can upgrade from any previous version to the latest version in just one go! You don't have to install all updaters between your version and the current version.

The v6.7.0 release overhauls the Wish List / Gift Registry system and also changes much of the Cart CSS, improving layout and design.

Normally for Minor Releases we try to make sure the database structure doesn't change and that changes are confined to individual scripts where possible. Major Releases however can change the database structure and generally require that all scripts are updated together. As across the web in general the cart now relies more heavily on CSS so the ectcart.css now needs to be updated too across major releases, and that is the reason for the changes in v6.7 counting as a Major Release.
There are some notes here on the best use of the ectcart.css file but the main point is try not to edit that file. Include it before your site CSS file and then redefine any classes that you want to change, using the !important directive if necessary...

The ectcart.css CSS file is now included in the updater in the /css folder.

As this is a major release all files have changed and all should be updated.

We've added support for the following to the v6.7 Beta

A storewide vacation shutdown option in the admin main settings page.

You can now set a category header for all categories and not just those that contain products.

You can now sort by the Product SKU as well as the Product ID.

You can now set a Minimum Purchase Quantity in the same way you could set a Minimum Purchase Amount.
minpurchasequantity=12
$minpurchasequantity=12;

We've added support for the following to the v6.7 Beta

Please note that even if you have previously installed the v6.7 Beta you still need to run the updatestore.asp/php script as there have been changes to the database.

You can now set a minimum quantity on a per-product basis using the Quick Entry feature in the product admin.

Text Input Options can now be created of the type Date Picker which will automatically create a Date Picker Popup Selector when someone clicks in them.

There have also been lots more improvements and bug fixes in the code and also the ectcart.css file which it is highly recommended that you update.

The minimum quantity feature now takes account of stock levels so products with stock below the minimum are now considered "Out Of Stock".
During the changes for this however it became apparent that we needed to change the sense of the database values for the minimum quantity. This means that if you have already entered your minimum quantities they may be set to 1 more than you actually entered. All you need to do to rectify this is go to the admin products page, list the products by Minimum Quantity in the Quick Entry and enter "-1" in the text box at the top of the list and then click the "Add" button. Then click the update button. This is something you will only have to ever do this one time.
