The following changes have been made...

The v6.8 Major Release has now been fully released. The v6.7 updater will now become the Stability Release and will only be updated with necessary bug and security fixes. The v6.8 updater is now the Advanced Release and new features will be added to this version when they are available as well as bug and security fixes. If you don't need the new features, or your website depends heavily on MODs then please use the Stability Release.

Please note that you can upgrade from any previous version to the latest version in just one go! You don't have to install all updaters between your version and the current version.

NVARCHAR to VARCHAR conversion for SQL Server Databases.
Text fields in SQL Server Database were created using the NVARCHAR data type which allows for wide character sets for languages such as Japanese or Chinese. However it has become clear that there are significant speed improvements to be had by using the regular VARCHAR data type. As most websites that are using western character sets don't need the NVARCHAR data type we have included a utility to convert from NVARCHAR to VARCHAR. This utility is included in the Admin Database Utility that is now a default part of the Ecommerce Templates admin section.
