I have this code (Line 388) at the very bottom of my Thanks.php page after an order is placed. Everything works fine and order comes through and google analytics works fine.

Is there anything I need to be concerned about? Not sure what this means.

Thanks,

Patrick

Hi Patrick

I can't see the picture so can't be sure what the problem is, it may be down to how files are uploaded via FTP as that has come up once or twice before. If you can let us know the error message I can check that for you.

That's weird as I can see the picture I posted.

Here is the error message:

"You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ' ' at line 1"

Hi Patrick, after looking at the thanks page compared to other pages on the site I think it best if you recreate the thanks page from a working page.

1. Open tracking.php - save it as thanks.php
2. Using code view on the new thanks page look for

<?php include "vsadmin/inc/inctracking.php" ?>
change the above to
<?php include "vsadmin/inc/incthanks.php" ?>

3. Change the page title and add back any tracking code if needed.
4. Save thanks.php again and upload to the server

That should sort it out.

I did exactly as you requested... Copied tracking page... saved as thanks....

Changed:

<?php include "vsadmin/inc/inctracking.php" ?>
change the above to
<?php include "vsadmin/inc/incthanks.php" ?>

Still have the same error message.

The error message appears at this line of code: <?php include "vsadmin/inc/incthanks.php" ?>

I'm pretty sure this is related to how the files are uploaded but searching the forum I can't find where this came up before. I'll check with Vince for you to see if he can remember the scenario.

Hi Patrick
It seems to be that the script you have set up for the custom payment provider will error if an order ID is not specified. It looks like the script is mean to be used in the cart page and should just silently pass through on the thanks page instead of erroring so I've made a couple of changes to vsadmin/inc/customppreturn.php so it does that. Can you try a test transaction now and see how it goes?

Hi Vince,

That seemed to have fixed it. Thanks

This was a custom Mike Beebe job that he did for me before he had the Converge payment provider (which I use) offered.

This has been this way since January 2016.

Thanks again.

Patrick
