Hey Guys,

My product pages are breaking up into pieces and not displaying correctly on an Ipad.

Its fine on Iphone and normal on a pc.

You can see what I mean by going here http://199.68.177.40/~acejewel/products.php?cat=59

If you grab the right hand side of the browser and drag it across the screen, when it approx gets to size of ipad you will see a left hand menu break off and go to top of the browser

and everything else is falls underneath.

If you keep dragging it into iphone mode it displays correctly.

Anybody any ideas how to fix the problem so product pages don't break up on the ipad ?

Index page and others seem ok :(

Thanks for any help you might have

Hi Don, looking at the site it appears to be using the dynamic menu but I'm not seeing the css for the menu, the first place to start would be to add the css for the menu, once that is in place then we can take another look. You may need to adjust padding / margins/ colors on the following but give that a try and let us know.

ul.ectmenu1 {
list-style: none;
border:0px solid;
font-size:14px;
padding:0px;
width:100%;
}
li.ectmenu1 {
border: 0px solid #ddd;
padding:10px;
background-color:#fff;
margin-left:-20px;
}
li.ectmenuhassub1 a{
display:block;
padding:10px;
}
li.ectmenuhassub1 a:hover{
display:block;
padding:10px;
color: #5A75AE;
}
li.ectmenu1 a{
display:block;
padding:10px;
}
li.ectmenu1 a:hover{
color: #5A75AE;
padding:10px;
display:block;
}
li.ectsubmenu1{
border-bottom:0px;
}

The menu is 'mega menu' and works fine and looks right on rest of website on an ipad its just the 'product pages' that break up ?

Thanks Sinbad

Sorry for delay Sinbad,

So I need to add your code to the style.css ?

There are 2 style sheets in this template, one is in the root folder of the site.

The other is in the .css folder

which style.css should I add the code to please ?

thanks

Hi Don

The problem is that the top menu is wrapping onto a new line as there's no space for it horizontally with a smaller screen. One option would be to have fewer links the other would be to edit the csss breakpoints so it becomes a tablet friendly menu at an earlier stage..
