I have an existing site that I'm trying to use with your Generic version.

That's all installed - c.f.

https://www.lr-westend.co.uk/index.php

If you are on this page

https://www.lr-westend.co.uk/view-all-shop-items.php

and then click on the first product, Chanterelle Table, all I'm trying to do is link to that item's static page. "Has static page" is ticked within the relevant Admin Products page.

But all I get is "Sorry, this product is not currently available."

It did work - ish - without "has static page" ticked, but I want each product to have its own page.

Looking at this page -

https://www.ecommercetemplates.com/seo/static-url-php.asp

there's info about categories, but following the instructions towards the bottom about "product detail static pages" just creates an error of "Sorry, this product is not currently available."

I am at a loss!

I was only trying to create a simple shop for a few items - one index page and a few products!

What am I doing wrong?

Hi Mike I think what you need to do is use has static URL and input the URL you want in the box

Hi

Um, I've already created that page, but if I link to it,

https://www.lr-westend.co.uk/chanterelle_side_table.php

I just get "Sorry, this product is not currently available."

Bewildered!

Yes, tried that.

I *think* I've got around it by making the link on this page

https://www.lr-westend.co.uk/view-all-shop-items.php

(first item)

go to

proddetail.php?prod=chanterelle

instead of it's "static page".

Thus, the link now gives me

https://www.lr-westend.co.uk/proddetail.php?prod=chanterelle

And the task now is how to control the CSS for that and the "cart.php" page! Is there a simple-ish way to do that, that I'm missing?
