What is the oldest ASP Classic Release version that meets the PayPal's Requirements?

PAYPAL REMINDER: Configure your firewall settings by January 10, 2018.

We announced earlier this year our plans to provide a more robust service by introducing additional IP addresses to the Payflow production and pilot environments. To minimize potential impact, we recommend that you use Domain Name Service (DNS) host names instead of hard-coding Payflow IP addresses.

However, if you must allow particular IP addresses through your firewall or proxy servers, please review our list (https://www.paypal.com/us/selfhelp/article/what-are-the-ip-addresses-for-payflow-servers-ts1465/1) of Payflow IP addresses to ensure that the appropriate IPs are configured in your firewall/proxy settings by January 10, 2018.

Please review our bulletin (https://www.paypal-status.com/history/eventdetails/8008) for additional information (including potential impacts) regarding this initiative. Any changes to the schedule will be updated on the bulletin.

Hi

We don't use the IP addresses so you can safely ignore the warning here.

Hi, I found another ticket posted where you said:
In your PayPal admin under IPN do you have the Notification URL set with https

https://www.yourstore.com/vsadmin/ppconfirm.asp

Right now the customer only uses PayPal to accept payments but still get notices from PayPal.
"...the merchant API cert. credential upgrade, and also with the IPN Verification postback to HTtPS. Still needed: TLS 1.2 and HTTP/1.1 Upgrade. "

Is under her PP Admin the only other thing we should check?
or are we supposed to install an SSL for Https on her site too?

Is this PayPal Payments Standard? If so, an ssl certificate is not obligatory but generally recommended for an ecommerce store these days.

There is a TLS1.2 test available and discussed here https://www.ecommercetemplates.com/support/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=107642
