Is there a way to display a product or long description on the cart page?

What I need is more description when I view items ordered that show up when I view the cart orders entered.

You can display the product image by adding the line $useimageincart=TRUE; in the vsadmin/includes.php if that helps?

I am already using $useimageincart=TRUE;. This does nothing about displaying a product description in the cart!

There isn't a feature to display the description in the cart so I believe Phil was suggesting linking to the product page from the cart which is probably the best you can do here.

There's no feature to add the product description to display when added to cart, only the product name and the product ID is displayed (if the image in cart is not enabled)

I can't see why you wish to identify items that have been added to the cart, is there any particular reason for this? Surely when you receive the order and you view it in your admin orders you can identify what product has been ordered?

If you could explain exactly the problem you're having with regard to identifying products added to the cart I might be able to suggest something else perhaps.
