My website host, Hostek, helped me to update my php to 5.4 on the following 3 sites: www.seamineralsolutions.com www.clickforencouragement.com www.zoetechhealth.com
Once this was done, the sites would not open. I asked for Hostek to help me, and they replied:
"I renamed each .htaccess file to .htaccess_bak in the root directory of the 3 domains and they are all loading correctly. To alter your PHP settings in code, add a php.ini file to the root directory and change your PHP settings there.
So I guess to take care of this issue, I need to rename each .htaccess file, then add a php.ini file to the root directory. Will simply installing the latest updater take care of this for me? I know I will need to change to a newer php version for this update.
Thanks. Paul
