New Features

New Sort Orders Choices. There are now additions to the product sort orderings you can select including Average Rating, Number of Ratings, Number of Sales and Popularity. For the number of sales you can regenerate the count over the period of time of your choice in the product admin page. The popularity is based on the times the product's detail page has been viewed. You can manually override these values using the Product Admin Quick Entry feature.

Item count on the admin pages. Each of the admin pages now has an item count, for instance in the Product Admin page there is a count of how many products are in the database.

In the Admin Statistics page, each statistics section when choosing the "Totals" option now has a link to download the statistical data in CSV format.

For users of the Digital Downloads this setting has been added to the Quick Entry in the admin products page.

Bug Fixes and Enhancements

FedEx have changed their API slightly and there are some changes to the license admin page to take account of this.

There is an important fix for WordPress users which sorts out a problem where single quotes in customer data can end up being doubled up. For instance the name "O'Leary" would end up as "O''Leary".

A problem has been fixed where changing the order status in the admin orders page to an authorized status could lead to it being displayed as "Undefined" in the orders listing.

A bug has been fixed in the admin orders pages where countries that were liable for state tax would not always have it added when editing an order.

If the Customer Parameters were enabled in the product page layout but not the detail page layout, their entry was not possible in the admin products page and this has been resolved.

In the order statistics admin page choosing more than one category would cause the categories to be ignored for the stats generated and this has been fixed.

The setting to allow default email signups was being ignored in some cases and this has been fixed now.

We've released a Hotfix today to resolve the following issues.

The following fix is also included in the v6.9 release.

We've fixed an issue where logging out of an account may not actually result in a successful logout in some circumstances.
