Mailchimp api issue

brianjay New Member USA 57 Posts Pre-sales questions only (More Details...)	Posted - 02/27/2018 : 07:44:56 I inserted my Mailchimp API code (ending -us17) and now when I click the "mailchimp Integration" button I get a "500 (Internal Server) Error" message. I would like to re-enter the code or delete it, but I can't get to it. I'm running Ecommerce PlusASP v6.8.3. Am I missing something? Brian Elefant
Andy ECT Moderator 95440 Posts	Posted - 02/27/2018 : 07:53:20 Hi Brian I haven't heard of that happening before - it would be good to know what error is being masked by the generic 500 message there so can you ask your host if they can turn off friendly error messaging so we get to see what the underlying error is? Andy ECT Moderator 95440 Posts	Posted - 02/27/2018 : 08:58:48 Normally the first thing we'd suggest is updating to the latest version but I just checked and that file hasn't changes for a while and the line number is still the same. Can you let us know your server / database set up in case there's something there we can check? Andy Please feel free to review / rate our software

Posted - 02/27/2018 : 12:40:44 Godaddy has iis 8; but to move up, I would need to convert from MS Access to SQL and SQL is not as friendly a database as Access is (ie. reports, queries and table manipulations). Can you check that that file got updated when you updated to v6.8.3? You can check the file modified dates on the server for instance. Posted - 03/02/2018 : 06:32:45 I just reloaded the updates to the server and it now works, BUT Godaddy says that they are not planning on updating their Windows server EVER and that bu 2019 they will eliminate it. I am looking to move to another web hoster. BUT I do have another issue which I will post on another thread. Thank you Brian Elefant
