Hello to all

For some reason recently I am not getting a copy of the contact form through my site, also this evening I have noticed I am not getting confirmation of an order to my email address. And finally this evening I have received an order, paid for by the customer using PayPal and the auth code states no IPN instead of the PayPal Auth Code. It is also still showing as unauthorized even though I have confirmed the PayPal payment has gone through.

Any assistance to resolve this issue would be great.

Hi Tim the contact form is not one of ours we can only address email sent from our scripts, can you try testing email friend as outlined here https://www.ecommercetemplates.com/help/email-help.asp I tested Ask a question on product 1BS5687-STD did you get that email, if not can you let your host know that email are not working and to take a look.

Paypal no IPN would indicate a communication issue between the site and Paypal, I checked your site and it passed the TLS1.2 test, next thing to check is that the IPN url and return url in the Paypal account are pointing to https:// Also in the Paypal account check for IPN history as that might have some clues to what is happening.

I've been having the same problem since yesterday (no order emails, no contact us emails, no product info emails). I've contacted my hosting company & they say it's not an issue on their end, but I can't figure out what happened that stopped these emails.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Trendyhounds is a mix of store and non-store emails and I've asked her to speak to the host again because they've been functioning perfectly since phpmailer was implemented 2 months ago.

Tim - you need to ask your host if they have made any recent changes.

I've contacted my hosting company twice now about it & both times I'm being told it's not a problem on their end.

I don't think the recent updater has anything to do with it because I finished my updater at 5pm & received 5 order email notifications after that.

Anybody got any suggestions? Besides it being the hosting company because that's going nowhere.

Again, I'm receiving emails outside of the website just fine, but I don't receive ANY order email notifications, contact us emails, or product info emails.

The "Contact Us" emails aren't part of the store software so I don't see how it can't be server related to be honest - unless it was a massive coincidence. Phil said he you had phpmailer installed, maybe you can check with your host if that is still required.

Ok, so I was told "yes" the phpmailer is still required & I do have it.

Many thanks for the answers, I have looked at PayPal and IPN is correct at https and all transactions up to 7 Mar 18 have been successful. Paypal has tried twice yesterday to resend IPN but not successfully.

Just tried email a friend and not coming through. When I click on email a friend, screen goes greyish as normal and you can fill out all details, when you click send the box disappears but the screen remains grey and I don’t get the email.

With all these issues coming recently would it make sense it is my server that is the problem?

I would recommend you speak to your host, explain the exact circumstances and see what they say.
Having just said that, my email a friend test that I tried on your site works, I've just received the email so have they sorted the issue out for you?
