After changing servers that is running php 7.1 and I now find my order emails are not sending. I'm running ECT 6.8.5.

I assume that I'll need to add the PHPMailer files. Can you please send along the updated process and filer links.

The current version of PHPMailer is 6.0.3 .. the files downloaded do not match any of the instructions I've been able to search for. And it appears that PHPMailer will no longer support anything under version 6.0

If you'd include the information once again for the download as well as entries for the includes file in the vsadmin it would be much appreciated. The help files and support notes are quite fragmented and confusing.

Your mail host name and port will be different of course, but the rest should be close enough

Isn't the 5.2 version of PHPMailer antiquated (updated w/security fix) ?

The 5.2 branch isn't the latest, but it does have the security fixes and is the version that works. The 6.0 branch is completely rewritten and is not compatible with your store at this time.
