You'll need this addition to vsadmin/includes.php $acceptecheck=true; https://www.ecommercetemplates.com/phphelp/ecommplus/parameters.asp#authorizenet You can't have AIM and SIM on the same site. A combination of AIM + PayPal for example would be fine though. Andy Please feel free to review / rate our software

Dude, you have been a huge help!!
One final question, does ECT encrypt passwords and any credit card data. Does it store any credit card data?
Thanks, D Hagood
FYI, since changing to AIM last night we have no (zero) transfer relay issues.

I am getting this exact error for essentially every credit card checkout transaction. Was the underlying problem ever fixed or should I just switch over to PayPal Web Site Payments Pro? Never really like authorize.net anyway.

I really wouldn't know the difference. I set this up so long ago and it's simply worked until recently. I don't see SIM or AIM option in the payment providers section. Where do I start?

Thanks Andy, I didn't realize this was in the admin, I assumed this was a change needed in the authorize.net account.
So I just switched it over to use the Authorize.net AIM and ran a transaction as a test. I can not complete the checkout as I get this after entering my CC and submitting:
Ship To First Name is required.

Have you been through the steps here https://www.ecommercetemplates.com/phphelp/ecommplus/authorizenet.asp - specifically getting the transaction key and entering that in the store admin page? Andy Please feel free to review / rate our software

I took the API Login ID and Transaction Key from the Authorize.net (ID3 in the ECT admin) and copied it to the Auth.NET AIM (ID 13 in the ECT admin). I will look at your link.

Also, I do not see 'Merchant ID Login:' on the Auth.net AIM admin page.
I also just noticed I am replying in this topic in the PHP section. I am using the ASP version of the cart, 6.8.5.

So was this switch to Auth.net AIM supposed to work by copying the API and Transaction ID out of the Authorize.net and using the same? I get the error 'Ship To First Name is required.'

Yes. I am filling out all fields during checkout. There is a box unchecked that says 'I'd like this shipped to a different address '. If I leave this check box blank I get the error 'Ship To First Name is required.'.
I just tried something new, clicking the box to use a different shipping address with filling out the address same as billing.
The check out now completed, but the page took 30-45 seconds to go back to the thanks.asp page with the order confirmation.
