Is there set up to swipe a credit card using ECT?

I searched, can't find that. if not, is there a mod?

I looked at this but that, it looks like something you use to capture data from a card for other reason (not sure).

We use AIM method and in a checkout process would like to be able to swipe a card so the card data through swipe is used to assist to complete the sale. 95% of our sales are over the internet but we do some sales in the field. Being able to swipe to complete a sale in ECT would really speed up the process.

What we may have to do is use a terminal for just the swipe purchase and then add the sales manually to ECT so we record all sales.

It sounds like you just want some type of device that will read the numbers off the card and input them into the form fields in your shopping cart?
If so, I'm not sure an animal like that exists, but I suppose a google search will help.

Another option - if you use paypal, get the paypal here swipe attachment and app for your phone or tablet. Use that and enter the order in your admin manually.

You might add your voice to the requests for Square support the the suggestions area.
