For one of my categories in Product Admnistration, only the product description appears. All other columns have dashes, so there is no way to modify, delete or clone any of the items. When searching for the name of the category on my webiste, I also get the following error, "Warning: mysql_num_rows() expects parameter 1 to be resource, boolean given in /home/frenchco/public_html/vsadmin/inc/incfunctions.php on line 2187"

Any insight would be appreciated.

Hi

Did you make any changes before this happening, have you just updated? It might well be worth running the latest updater to see if that sorts it out.

I have just updated to try and fix the problem. It is possible that I added a product with the name and an odd character, but not sure how to now address the issue.

In theory that shouldn't be a problem - do you know what you added? Are you confident using the csv product download feature?

Not sure how to do product download by cvs. Please explain how and maybe how this might help.

You can go to the product admin page and choose "Product Inventory" from the Select Action drop down. That will give you a csv file you have downloaded and can check. I'm still not sure though that this is the problem but wonĄ't harm checking.
