Today we switched on "Use Negotiated Rates" for UPS. Until now we had been using Published Rates and things worked fine.

Now we get this error when quoting UPS rates from the Admin:
"Saskatchewan is not a valid state for the specified shipment."
We do ship from Saskatchewan, so maybe the system is missing a Canada flag somewhere?

Customer is in Mexico, everything quotes fine when we switch back to Published Rates.

Let me know if you need any more info.
Thanks!

Hi

Did you add this step https://www.ecommercetemplates.com/help/ups.asp#ups5
quote:
To get rates when using Negotiated Rates, UPS require a state code as well as the zip code. For that reason, you'll need the following setting in vsadmin/includes.asp

defaultshipstate="CA"

or in vsadmin/includes.php

$defaultshipstate="CA";

Changing the "CA" to your own state code, if necessary.

Ah, it was set to Saskatchewan when it should have been SK.
And I also had to RE-register in the UPS admin to get our new rates to show up.

Thanks.
