Is there anyway to turn off loyalty points?

Not sure if there is a simple switch...doesn't make much sense there wouldn't be a simple way to just turn this off. Or a link in the manual where its documented?

Yes, you just remove the settings you used to turn points on initially. So remove these lines from vsadmin/includes.asp:

Thanks Peter, That solved my problem.

I did review this link info prior to asking this question and commenting on documentation. After a great deal of detailed searching and review no where does it state how to turn off the loyalty points... It only mentions how to deal with loyalty point with wholesale accounts.... I have copied the link below... Unless I am missing something? I read very well, My site doesn't work at the moment anyways, so between this and that and not finding clear documentation its a little frustrating at the moment.

" Loyalty / reward points (Minimum version 6.1.0)
To turn on the loyalty points feature, set the following
loyaltypoints=100....where 100 is the number of points per unit of currency eg $1 = 100 points.
The default redemption value for a point will be 0.0001 but that can be changed with loyaltypointvalue=0.0001
If you need to turn off loyalty points for customers who receive wholesale pricing and / or a percentage discount you will need a minimum of Version 6.5 and the following in includes.asp
loyaltypointsnowholesale=TRUE
loyaltypointsnopercentdiscount=TRUE

I'll add a not there about turning them off too.
