Another issue has arisen. My contact page now displays a 500 error when i attempt to send an email using the page. Could this be another Godaddy technical problem?

"500 error" is a generic error.
You will want to ask the host how you can see the actual hidden error and that will usually point you in the right direction of what the issue is.
