Hello,

I have version Ecommerce PlusASP v6.8.3 and have been using Paypal for years. I am currently getting an error message: PayPal Express (4) error: Error, couldn't connect to https://api-3t.paypal.com/2.0/ (-2147012739). An error occurred in the secure channel support - I am with godaddy and they have assured me we are 1.2 TLS compliant. I check also this website which says we are also: https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/analyze.html?d=www.greatmusicproducts.com I have double checked the API setting and they all match up. I see on another post you had that someone had the same issue but can seem to find anything on my end for a fix: https://www.ecommercetemplates.com/support/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=110138&SearchTerms=Error,,couldn%27t,connect,to,https://api-3t.paypal.com/2.0/

Thanks,
Rick

PS I did pay for updaters today also so I should not be pre-sales

Well looks like I fixed it!! Apparently you have to have Paypal Express AND Paypal Direct enabled in the payment providers for it to work!! :-)

I'm getting this error now when attempting to capture funds through the adminorders.asp page.

Status:
Error, couldn't connect to https://api-3t.paypal.com/2.0/ (-2147012889).
The server name or address could not be resolved

I haven't done anything differently since the last time I did this. Any clues?

Thanks,
Kelley

Hi Kelley

Are PayPal orders going through correctly on the front end?

When did you last try? I'm just wondering if it's a server glitch as a message like that I'd expect problems on the frontend too.

And so it was. I just tried again and it worked.

Thanks, Andy!
