Ok so every day I have to import product files form the supplier. This has to be transformed to a format ect understands.

The category I get in the original file is something like this

Root Catalog/Default Category|Root Catalog/Default Category/Office Supplies/Filing & Storage|Root Catalog/Default Category/Office Supplies/Filing & Storage/Archiving & Storage

In ect I have a category called Archiving & Storage catid 57

Im sure I am not the only one here that has had to do this and what was the best way people found to do the translation?

Thanks for any answers as this one has stumped me

Hi Paul, you you inserting new products, or updating existing?
If it's the latter, then you can just skip the category column as it would have already been assigned and it's not required on the csv import.
