Hi

It sounds like you need this addition to vsadmin/includes.php of the secondary site

https://www.ecommercetemplates.com/phphelp/ecommplus/parameters.asp#storeurl

I'll che k those out, after looking through the tweaks I didn't see what I needed. Would tweakin the actionaftercart parameter be the best bet?

Hi there
I don't think so really. But can you give me an example of what you need to do, and what it is doing differently now?

Vince,

using the buy button on homepage script,
what we would like to happen is the from the homepage customer hit the add to cart or buy, the cart adds the item, then he cart goes straight to checkout for customer to complete the purchase.

what it is doing now is the cart returns back to the original page, i remember from the older versions you could dictate what the cart did after the item was selected, has that been phased out?

Ahhh, ok. I see what you mean now and yes, the actionaftercart would be the parameter I believe. If you need help with it, let me know.

Vince,
I found where the tweak should go : in the includes.php of the vsadmin folder.
but, I have tried all the parameters, and even though the item is in the cart, the cart keeps going back to the page, is it because i'm using the add buy button on homepage script?

which is:

<form method="post" action="cart.php">
<input type="hidden" name="id" value="kmc-esp">
<input type="hidden" name="mode" value="add">
<input type="image" style="maxwidth=60px" src="buy-now.png" border="0">
</form>

you can see it action here:

I think that would be the case from a buy button on the home page.

Tweak?, the newer manuals doesn't include that these days, I liked it better when ideas there.

I'm not entirely clear what you mean there and the link isn't working for me. Can you show me an example?

My mistake on the URL

https://kissmecomix.com/webpagetemplate_files/excessive.htm that is the correctone

Make a selection for the book and when you make the purchase you get to the cart and see the item, but it BRINGS you back. We want the cart to go!to cart.php to continue the checkout process

I see what you mean now. First of all remove this line from that page as it's a duplicate

<form method="post" name="tForm8" id="ectform8" action="https://kmcdirect.kissmecomix.com/cart.php" style="margin:0;padding:0;" onsubmit="return formvalidator8(this)">

Then check includes.php for any mention of actionaftercart (there may be duplicates) and remove any / all of those entries.

that seems to be the ticket! now my question is this, after the fix, tried a test and got a 404 error which made sense as I don't have the store on that subfolder(as it a testing ground for our new site change).
so for the url I put in the full url for the cart.php

will that hurt anything as far as anything else regarding the cart?

Can you not just put ../cart.php

action="../cart.php">
