I did a full web site update after making a couple of changes using Dreamweaver and now i cannot connect to my database. I can't even connect to the admin site!
I get this error message
Microsoft JET Database Engine error '80040e10'
No value given for one or more required parameters.
/vsadmin/inc/incfunctions.asp, line 69

Hi Brad I think it's worth running the updater again, uploading the updater files and then check the time and date of the files on the server to make sure they all correspond to the time of update. Andy Please feel free to review / rate our software

Hi
Did the updater and all worked fine and I now have access to the data base, however, it is showing an old data base with incorrect categories and products!!!

Can you check the file vsadmin/db_conn_open.asp it sounds like it is pointing to the wrong database. I think that is the case so correct the connection string and then run the updatestore.asp file again. Andy Please feel free to review / rate our software

it is pointing to this data base
<% sDSN = "Provider=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0;Data Source=\\xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx\vsproducts.mdb;" %>
I checked my back-up file before the update and it matches the above?

In that case rather than the db_conn_open.asp connection string being incorrect it sounds like you may have uploaded an older version of vsproducts.mdb and that's why you were getting the error before updating. Do you have a more recent copy? Andy Please feel free to review / rate our software

No, this was backed-up last week? It's almost like the admin add products and categories is being saved to the wrong destination file. Is this possible?

I don't think that's the case, especially since the orders are showing a date of 2015. I would ask your host if they have a back up of vsproducts.mdb from just before when you started getting an error. Andy Please feel free to review / rate our software
