Is there a better way to get potential customers to signup for the mailing list? Having a box at the bottom of the page does not draw much and having an option for customers that are already making a purchase is good, but we want an easier way to target new customers.

You can put that box where ever you want. Also, do you offer the option to sign up for your newsletter on checkout?

Does anyone know of a good PHP script for a popup signup box as a user visits your site? I want to offer a discount for their first order in return for signup.
I see a lot of sites that offer this way to get prospects to signup.

I was researching for this topic in the forum and was wondering if this ever got resolved. We would like to also integrate a marketing popup option, although for an ASP version.

We are lately using mailchimp and in my research I came across this: https://mailchimp.com/help/add-a-pop-up-signup-form-to-your-website/

We are still researching which way would be the best way to handle popups as we would like to have promotional popups that we can configure as needed.

I thought there might be something with ecommerce templates that I cannot find in the help file.
