Since we installed the latest update, we're not getting Paypal confirmations any more. Some orders seem to be confirmed at Paypal; most are not. I've tried all the possible combinations in Paypal setup and ECT, got nowhere.

We have a seasonal product. Has something changed since last year?

Is it that orders are showing as unauthorized or the email confirmation isn't arriving - I'm not sure of the scenario.

Andy, it's the Paypal authorization that we're not getting. Some orders are making through PP, others not, but they all show up on ECT as unauthorized. I'd include screen shots but I don't think this forum allows that?

It may be coincidence that you updated are around the same time as the problem started and it may be the TLS1.2 changes that were made by PayPal earlier in the Summer. Can you add your URL to your forum profile so I can run a check there and also let us know what error, if any, is appearing when a customer checks out using PayPal?

Andy, the basic site is christiancalendar.squarespace.com. The store link is uhill.net/paycad

At checkout, the Paypal receipt looks normal. When I click the Return to Merchant button, I get Thanks.php with a long delay. "We are just waiting for the status of your payment . . . "

Then, "There was a timeout waiting for confirmation from the payment server. Please contact our customer service email for details about the status of your order."

Checking Orders Admin, clicking on the order, it shows up as Unauthorized. Paypal Authorization / Capture shows correct Capture Amount and "Close authorization" in the dropdown.

Order does not show up on Paypal, but there may be a lag? Receipt received -- see above.

I'll bet anything the problem comes from the TLS1.2 issue. Except I've no idea what that is. We've been using the software for years with no problems. This is our launch weekend and we're going crazy trying to handle things manually.

I think you have this set in includes.php so first of all can you remove it and let me know
