Hello, I want to set the path to my cart.php page to "https".

I tried inserting the folllowing in includes.php but this did not seem to work.

$pathtossl="https://www.frenchcosmeticsforless.com/cart.php/";

Any help would be appreciated.

In newer versions of the store that is set in the main admin settings in the HTTPS URL field - but without the cart.php

In older versions that would be in includes.php like this

$pathtossl="https://www.frenchcosmeticsforless.com/";

I had already set the https URL in Admin Setting to https://www.frenchcosmeticsforless.com but it is still not working. When I go to my cart it is shown as not secure, but when I manually adjust the url to https://www.frenchcosmeticsforless.com/cart.php then it becomes secure.

Please advise

You should remove the setting in includes.php and only have this in the main admin settings HTTPS URL field

https://www.frenchcosmeticsforless.com

when you check out the cart will switch to https.

You could also put all your site on https which is recommended these days

Sorry if I am being dim, but I removed the following from includes.php $pathtossl = ""; - My store and https url are both set to https://www.frenchcosmeticsforless.com/ but this has not cured the problem. Still cart.php is showing as unsecured.

It is working as it should. When you click checkout on the cart contents screen you are taken to enter details over a secure https connection - maybe you didn't continue the checkout?

The cart does not change to https until you move past the first step to the address entry.
I just checked and it's working.
