I am struggling to get shipping rates returned correctly from UPS and in viewing your Instruction manual, I see:

"Oversize Packages.
For each OS1 package, set the product weight to be 30 pounds.
and
For each OS2 package, set the product weight to be 70 pounds"

Where do I set OS1 & OS2?

I am trying to ship packages of:
16 lbs, 13x18x15 inches
14 lbs, 13x18x15 inches
23 lbs, 22x25x15 inches
36 lbs, 26x35x15 inches
45 lbs, 24x26x22 inches
80 lbs, 20x37x28 inches

ECT Includes.php settings:
$upspickuptype="01";
$addshippinginsurance=2;
$defaultshipstate="CA";
$csnoshowdiscounts=TRUE;
$willpickuptext="";
$estimateshipping=FALSE;
$estimateshipping=FALSE;
$autobillingtoshipping=FALSE;
$forcestateselector=TRUE;
$shippingoptionsasradios=TRUE;

ECT admin settings:
Use Negotiated Rates
Pack products separately
Dimensions: IN

What am I doing wrong?
The rates we get are quite a bit less than what UPS claims they should be!

Hi

You could see if setting up a different pickuptype gets you to closer what you want.

You can also set an initial box weight https://www.ecommercetemplates.com/phphelp/ecommplus/parameters.asp#boxweight

You can also split the heavy packages https://www.ecommercetemplates.com/phphelp/ecommplus/parameters.asp#split

$upspickuptype=xx: applicable settings only help slightly!

$initialpackweight=2.5; (boxweight) only works with the estimator!

$splitpackat=xx; changes rate on some products, but not others

I did not get a reply to how to set and if the OS1 & OS2 would help!

Those aren't settings in the software but UPS definitions of oversize packages.

The initalpackweight should be added also to the shipping total, it's not just an estimation setting.

The splitpackat will depend on the threshold you set and the products weights you are testing with.
