For a while now i have had trouble with menu dropdowns with Chrome.

You see them briefly but they do not behave normally, and you can't select.
I have reinstalled/updated & cleared all data but Chrome still acts weird.

That brings me to my webstores.
It happens there.
If it happens to me, why?
If it happens to my customers it is very bad.

This behavior is also exhibited in Store Admin.
I have taken to using Edge instead of Chrome.




So whatever the reason, can I fix my Stores so this is "worked around" somehow?
or
If it is a peculiarity of my System, how many other people have this

My store is also throwing up codes like:

Can you check the version of PHP on the server and then the syntax required in includes.php and db_conn_open.php outlined here https://www.ecommercetemplates.com/support/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=107737 as that sounds like it may be the problem.

This is all new behavior.

What version is your store on? If the PHP version is 7.1, your ECT version should be a minimum of ECT6.7. You will also need to check the syntax in those two files.

password.php does not work

This site can’t be reached www.apeironpackaging refused to connect.
Try:

Checking the connection
Checking the proxy and the firewall
ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED

OK, I am back to this dropdown problem.

I understand that it is a weird problem.
But I must solve it because anyone(customers) with a computer like mine will have problems with the Drop Downs.

Can anyone give me any insight on this?

2 Disturbing other things happened over the last couple weeks. - Site version 6.9.4

My Shipping settings changed on their own: example: I sold to a guy inSweden(which was not enabled)

When I went to check settings Their were about 20 countries enabled that I do not ship to

Also
LxWxD settings on an Item (I sell alot of) disappeared. I found this out when I noticed a shipping charge of $50 for 1 wheel.

What could make these settings disappear or change as I have not gone in to edit thes features??

Settings can't change by themselves so I can only imagine that things were modified without intention or noticing the change.

I deleted the Length width & depth data base entries on a product that sells every week(for 6 years unchanged) without noticing I did it?

I also enabled 20 countries that have never been enabled for shipping in Shipping Admin?
I get an order from Sweden(???) to find out my settings changed to include 15 other countries. ( why not all the countries on the list?)

So you say I went in and enabled 20 new countries for shipping without knowing it?

My shipping admin has been set for US & Canada Only for 6 years.

Sorry, I don't buy it.

That was just a suggestion on how things can appear to change without having realized - I really can't see how the countries can be enabled with human intervention, deliberate or not.

My laptop is getting wonky I guess.
I have had some mouse/keyboard issues lately.

I have a new laptop on deck. Ughh. its always something

I probably should do a system and site spiff up soon.

I saw a problem once when using the mouse wheel inadvertantly changed drop down choices - stuff like this happens sometimes without noticing.
