I applied PHP version 6.9.4 and now my "Add to Cart" buttons don't work. It is probably something I've done wrong in applying the update but I'm hoping you can help me. First, a question: do all of the "vsadmin" files get included in an update release or just those that have changed? I have my own "vsadmin" folder and I routinely move all the updated files into there as well. Any suggestions on the best way to troubleshoot this problem?

Hi John

It sounds like you are missing the ectcart.js file https://www.ecommercetemplates.com/support/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=110209

Both the the original and renamed vsadmin folder will need updating .

Thanks much for your rapid response, Andy... I somehow missed this update earlier. I've updated all my store files and things are working well, now.
Just let me know if I can assume that every new updated vsadmin file has all the files included... even the ones that haven't changed. I assume it does, which
means if I screw up my website files, I can start fresh by re-uploading all the vsadmin files (to vasadmin and to my 'shadow vsadmin'). By the way, should I
be removing the vsadmin folder from the web server as well as making all my store files point to the shadow folder?

The updater has all the vsadmin and inc files with the exception of db_conn_open.php and includes.php as those contain your own database connection details and store settings. Best to keep a back up after updating in case anything goes wrong at any time. You shouldn't remove the vsadmin folder as your store still runs off that, you use the second folder for logging in and administering the store but the original should stay where it is.
