Hi Andy, I downloaded free coffee cup editor version to tryout. I still have DWCS3 though.

I can open and make updates but what if I end up getting rid of DW? Or if it stops working is my concern.

Will my shopping cart software still work with CCup? Since the version I believe we bought was for DW?

I Know CC doesn't have the DWT, but I found it has a similar function to do global changes.

It's an HTML editor so you will be able to edit pages but as you say you won't have the dwt file function - that's the only thing that makes it more Dreamweaver friendly.

Ok great.just fearful that DW will stop working all together one day since it's 10 years old:(. Coffee cup support says the library function works similar. I just need to figure it out and test it on our other machine is all I can think of.

What are all the pages that need to be updated on our site "if" I were to do a manual Global
change instead of using DWT?

For example if I were to change one of the links on the top navigation bar, which other files
would I also need to manually update?

Just thinking for when/if I switch to using CoffeeCup if/when I need to do
Global updates maybe I can do them manually?
