I would like to make a suggestion: Over here in Holland we have quite a choice of different payment providers that are not supported in the Ecommercetemplates list of standard Payment Providers. For example there is iDeal of the Dutch banks. But when we want to ship to Belgium we want to use Bancontact which only works in Belgium, etc.. Having a contract directly with these payment systems is sometimes cheaper as working with a specialised online payment provider like Ogone. But also some of these online payment providers offer iDeal and Bancontact like Stripe does, but this is not part of the Stripe implementation in the Ecommercetemplate code. Having only one custom payment provider thus limits our options. Would it not be nice to redesign the payment section to work with a plug-in like solution? This means move all payment processing code to seperate include files. This way the whole inccart.asp can be much simpler and you simply add a payment processer by including its inc file when needed. If you supply a generic custom payment solution it would be much easier to implement all kind of local payment providers and these could even be shared among webshops in the same country. I realise it means quite some work on inccart.asp but it might also make the code of inccart.asp much more readable. And it might also help you market Ecommercetemplates. For example Stripe, Ogone etc. offer code for integrating their payment solution with Magento etc.. Would be great to see Ecommercetemplate also in these lists. Love to hear what people think of this. Greetings, Jaap jaapg@promanent.comPromanent b.v. www.promanent.com | www.vaarwinkel.nl
