Hi Bob

Did you enter the 128 character Signature Key or is this still using the MD5 Hash? Does the field label show MD5 Hash / Signature Key in the auth.net sim admin page?

Still using MD5 Hash. No changes there. Yes. It shows MD5 Hash/Signature in admin payment providers

The set up should work with either and did when I was testing, having said that though, make a note of your MD5 hash and then replace it with the Signature Key you can generate in the auth.net admin.

I WANT TO PUT THE SITE BACK TO THE WAY IT WAS. HOW DO I DO THAT? CAN I JUST REPLACE THE FILES OR DO I NEED TO REPLACE THE DATABASE?

I put everything back to where it was before except the database. When I enabled the backup database using the old files I got the error mentioned in this thread. So the cart is working in spite of the fact you said that it wouldn't using old files and the new updated database.

I don't want to start changing authorize.net settings as I'm not convinced that will work either or that I will be able to fix it if it doesn't work either.

At least customers can checkout now.

I gave my notice to the website owner as this is beyond my capabilities now.

If any developer reads this, the owner of www.grabbarspecialists.com is now looking for someone to take my place.

I'm not sure what error you're referring to there but if the files and database are on different versions it would be quite possible there was a problem.

Would you like me to contact the store owner?

You can contact the store owner if you're interested in managing the Grab Bar Specialists website. I just don't want to do this anymore.

All email addresses removed. Didn't know that would be a problem. There is contact info on the www.grabbarspecialists.com website.
