I use Stock Management on my website. I have the "email me when back in stock" feature setup and it works fine unless I'm using stock by options.

If a product is out of stock (using stock by options) the email me when back in stock link does not show up unless you actually try to put an out of stock item in your cart then the pop up feature works. Customers see that there is no stock and thus will not enter an item in their cart so I 'm not seeing a true backlog of requests.

Do I have something setup wrong?

EXAMPLES:

It looks it is set up correctly. I see your point that you do have to choose an option before getting the message but that is the way it works really.
