We offer free shipping on orders over 65.00. I have a customer that is doing a custom order and I am trying to set up a coupon for the coupon with the discounted price but I do not want to give free shipping also as it is a discounted price. How do I turn off free shipping on those orders?

Look in the product admin for the product you want free shipping removed, you should see a list of exemptions, choose free shipping exempt.

Honestly, for me, if it was only one customer, one time, I would issue the code and let them know that even though it might offer them free shipping, we can't honor that and if you select it, we would need to cancel the order.
Done!

Paradise this is a one time order that is why i am trying to use a coupon I cant remove tit the free shipping from all of them.
dbdave free shipping is an auto discount at orders over 65.00 so it is automatic that is why I asked if it can be done via the coupon.

I think I will just bill direct for this order. Thanks

Hi Craig, I see.
Actually what we do on special orders is enter the order on the back end and email the customer.
We use the donations page as a make-a-payment page and we even have a nifty trick where it's already populated for the customer.
