Hi All,

I'm hoping someone has come across this problem before and can maybe point me in a direction that works.

I have a retail site and a trade/wholesale site running from the same SQL database. The problem I have is that there are products on the retail site that I can't give trade discount on and I don't want them to show on the trade site. I'm looking for a solution where I can add code on the trade products pages that will hide certain products, e.g. something like “$prodid="product-xx"; hide”. I know this code won't work,but you get the idea. Is this possible? Has anyone found a solution to this type of problem?

In the past I have created a category for "Trade Only" at a higher login level, which works, but all the products are in one category which makes that product page look a mess and difficult for the customer to navigate.

I'm afraid the only way I know of doing that is having the products in their own category as you were using before.
