When I attempt to login to the admin for one of my sites, I get the message: "Login Correct"...but then it just comes back to the login screen. I tried to catch it quickly and click on the "click here" button for "if it does not redirect..." - but that doesn't work either.
What can I do?

Hi This has come up a few times before and it's generally down to a problem with the session variables on the server. If you show the problem to your host they should be able to sort it out for you. Andy Please feel free to review / rate our software

I've been on an online chat with my host for the past hour. They are telling me that "I" need to tell them what the variables need to be set to and then they can set them?? Why would they have changed?? They don't know.
Can you tell me what they should be? Everything else about the site is working fine. They did give me this info showing what they are set to right now: http://curtisknight.com/phpinfo.php

Thanks for that. I checked and that value is set correctly.
I could be wrong here - but is it odd that I have no problem logging into the WordPress dashboard, but I cannot log into the vsadmin? Does that tell you anything?

We are having some really weird issues. The server tech can sometimes login, but then I try and I can't. I tried Firefox, a Firefox private window, Chrome (that worked once), then tried clearing the cache in Chrome, and now it won't work. Tried Edge and now I can login from there. Server tech says he can login only with IE.
Any ideas?? He keeps saying that maybe some PHP environment variables need to be set/changed. But I have no idea what to set them to.
The site in question is on a new VPS server. All of my other ECT sites are on my own VPS server (with the same hosting company) and those are working with no problems.

This site is using version 6.9.2 -- if I upgrade it to the newest version, is it possible that it will fix any issues?

My host just told me they set the PHP version to 5.5 and that fixed the issue. Does that make any sense? You said ECT requires a minimum of 5.6?
