Hi all,

This is going to sound so dumb but for the life of me I can't figure how to get a formula to apply in Calc!

I want Column H (List Price) to round the price to end with .99 (12.99,4.99,14.99, etc).

Generic Formula:

=ROUND(price,0)-0.01

I have tried =ROUND(H,0)-0.01 (end up with Err:508). I can't use the fx wizard, shows err:520.

Any Calc experts out there that can tell me what the heck I can doing wrong?

The formula requires a cell.
You should have =ROUND(H1,0)-0.01
Each row would have this formula in a cell, with the correct reference (H1, H2, H3,...)
It can't be applied to an entire column.
Calc happens at the cell level.

Arrghhh.... figured it out finally!

Have to use the semi-colon, not a comma, in the formula.

=ROUND (H2;0)-0.01

Hi Dean,

Yeah, I made an empty coloumn I for the results - applied the formula to the I cell:

=ROUND (H2;0)-0.01

Then double-clicked the little lower right handle & it appplied the formula to the rest of the column, making all the prices end with .99. :)
