I currently sell doll patterns, paper and electronic download. I want to discontinue my paper patterns and go e-pattern only. When I change my paper quantity to zero, I can't order the electronic version even though the e-pattern has a quantity. What am I doing wrong? www.kalico.com
Hi Arnold931 It could be that you have the stock set on the product rather than the options. But saying that, if the only way to order will be the e-pattern, why not just get rid of the options entirely? To have an e-pattern with stock and a paper pattern without you would have to set up Alternate Product ID's for the paper and e-pattern products and have stock on one but not the other. This may be the way you have done things but that hasn't been explained.
The way I have it set up is I have two different Product ID's for each pattern. One for the paper version and a second (hidden) version for the electronic version. It looks like the simplest solution for my setup is the uncheck "Display Product" for all paper versions and check for all e-versions. Does this sound correct? thanks.
