Adding the following line $categorycolumns=3; to includes.php has zero effect and still shows just two columns. The line is not duplicated in the includes file. What am I missing?

I will update my updater status shortly

If you are using a CSS layout, that parameter will have no effect.

Hi Steve, on the parameters page, I see this where all of those parameters are listed.
"Product listings (Minimum version 1.3.7 - Maximum Version 5.9.4)"

I'm guessing you are using a new version than 5.9.4

Your categories should be controlled by css.

div.category { width: 30%;}

Something like that should get you three columns.

Thanks,
David

Marshall & dbdave,

Thanks for that gents! Yes it is a css layout

On the page https://www.ecommercetemplates.com/phphelp/ecommplus/parameters.asp under the heading Category Layout there's no mention that it's been 'retired'.

Off to the css file it is then
