Chrome started with the warnings for cross-site cookies
A cookie associated with a cross-site resource at http://www.google.com/ was set without the `SameSite` attribute. A future release of Chrome will only deliver cookies with cross-site requests if they are set with `SameSite=None` and `Secure`. You can review cookies in developer tools under Application>Storage>Cookies and see more details at https://www.chromestatus.com/feature/5088147346030592 and https://www.chromestatus.com/feature/5633521622188032.
How can I resolve this? (Is this because of the social media share buttons? If so, is there a hotfix for it?) I've read the article but have no idea how to implement the suggestion.

Thank you,
Lynne

Hi Lynne
But aren't Google winding down the Google Groups anyway? If you set the following in your vsadmin/includes.php file...
$GLOBALS['socialmediabuttons']='facebook,linkedin,twitter,askaquestion';
...it will remove the Google social media button.

Hi Vince,
I edited the code for the social links with my template to remove the Google+ but I still have a FB error:
A cookie associated with a cross-site resource at http://www.facebook.com/ was set without the `SameSite` attribute.
I just need to know where/how I edit the cookie to the SameSite+None/Secure/etc. for this. I thought it may be part of the ECT ob_start(); but I may be way off base. Any direction would be appreciated.

Thank you,
Lynne

Hi Lynne
Is this in the Chrome console? I mean to say, you can see this warning if you are a developer and looking for it but for the general public it's not a message they will be seeing, no?
The content for the social media icons are generated by the sites themselves, not us. So it's not really possible for us to modify the content that FB generate, but also, as this says, "a future release", they probably have this in hand.
