Shipping estimate way off

tgorski Ecommerce Template Expert USA 918 Posts	Posted - 11/07/2019 : 11:42:36 We have another client (PHP v6.9.6) whose Shipping Estimates are considerably higher than the final shipping calculation, which is within a penny of UPS online estimates. This customer JUST switched from USPS to UPS (Call for pickup) ... our concern is that cart abandonment may higher than it otherwise would IF the shoppers will continue to the final shipping/credit card screen of the checkout procedure. Should we try to troubleshoot the Shipping Estimate or just disable the feature? Tim Gorski

How about setting $debugmode=TRUE; in the includes.php file and that will mean you get an email with the XML request and response. Then send those to my email (vince AT ecommercetemplates DOT com) along with the shipping costs in the estimator and final.
