I am just getting started with my new site. No issues with installation but I am not seeing the project.dwt SIDE menu (left side) when I open it in DW CS6, Design View. I CAN see the side menu in Expression Web, however.

I am using the CSS Virtual Monochrome template, ASP version.

I would be grateful for any suggestions on how to fix this. I am by no means a DW expert and it may be something as simple as a DW setting.

Hi Toby, You can try checking under Edit > Preferences check under Invisible Elements, do you see the menu using code view?

No luck. I did as you suggested, checked all invisible elements, unchecked them and then one at a time.

Thanks. I will take a look. However, I think the Dreamweaver support video for ECT is based on Dreamweaver 4. But I may be presumptuous.

Too bad some of these older DW versions aren't available.
