After a customer applies a coupon, the discount amount does not show up in the mini cart (via incminicart.php)

If it can show up on the main cart.php (inccart.php) why not add that to the mini cart?

It would ease the minds of customers that a discount is still being applied and show them an accurate grand total.

They do show up I believe. If they are not showing up on your site then if you could start a post with the discount details etc we can have a look for you. Also, while you are in this area, the Mini CSS widget is now included free with the updater so it may be worth changing to that (incminicss.asp/php) rather than the incminicart.asp/php.
