For some reason my category images are not responsive (they don't get smaller on a mobile device). My product images and product detail images seem to be fine.

Hi Brian
Try adding to your site stylesheet the following...

img.catimage{
max-width:100%;
}

That will mean that the category image won't go over 100% of the available space.
