I need to create a separate site under a new domain. Ideally, I want to do so without reinventing the wheel and with as little work as possible.

I want to download the inventory from my ECT site and manipulate it as necessary to upload to a Wordpress site.

How easily is this done? Are there concerns I should be careful to observe?

Do you have a sample upload we can look at to figure out what needs to be changed?

Lastly, can the WP site rest as a subdirectory where I have my ECT site for Austin Flight on GoDaddy?

There is no difference in the database between the regular Ecommerce Plus and the WordPress templates. So if you are ok using phpMyAdmin (which is normally provided via your hosting control panel) then export the database as SQL and then just import it via phpMyAdmin in the new site. I think this is pretty easy but then I've done it before. If you need more details, please let me know.
And yes, you can have a wordpress site in a subdirectory, that shouldn't be a problem.
